The Benriner mandoline is used for quickly slicing vegetables and cutting julienne strips. Thickness is easily adjusted with the screw underneath. The hand guard protects the fingers and holds the vegetable securely. A rubber foot prevents slipping, and it can rest on the edge of a bowl so slices fall directly inside. Please note that the 120mm version does not have the additional matchstick blades. Not dishwasher-safe.
